Market Conditions
Currently there are 757 homes for sale in Simi Valley/Moorpark; of these 757 homes 142 are vacant. While the market has dropped below the 800 level, vacant listings are still high.
30 year mortgage rates have dropped back to levels that we saw in the beginning of this year which has stimulated some increased buying.
The October numbers will not be ready for a couple more weeks. August had 379 properties listed, 226 escrows opened and 232 escrows closed. September had 326 properties listed, 256 escrows opened and 215 escrows closed.
